Rerun & Reflex functionality ensures reproducible quality results with the shortest turnaround times: samples requiring repeated or extended analyses are automatically selected and reloaded, eliminating the need for manual intervention. User-definable rule-based rerun/ reflex testing streamlines workflow and significantly increases walk-away time.

Scalable analytical capabilities and wider application

Scalable analytical capabilities and wider application provide enhanced diagnostic support and clinical insights with the availability of optional* applications.

  • The WNR, WPC, and WDF channels provide a comprehensive assessment of white blood cells in response to disease processes. The introduction of new reportable Extended Inflammation Parameters (EIP)* offers deeper insights into the patient’s immune state concerning inflammation and infection. Additionally, the HPC (Haematopoietic Progenitor Cells)* application supports simple and rapid monitoring of stem cell mobilization, without the hassle of an expensive and labor-intensive process.
  • The Ret application* allows for the measurement of platelets using fluorescence flow cytometry, addressing many interferences common with impedance measurement. This reduces the need for manual follow-up procedures and shortens the turnaround time for such challenging samples. Additionally, Ret-He (Reticulocyte Haemoglobin Equivalent) supports early anemia detection and helps differentiate between classical and functional forms of iron-deficiency anemia.
  • The Platelet F (PLT-F)* application provides an automated reflex method with a dedicated platelet channel for samples with very low impedance platelet (PLT-I) counts or measurement interferences. The PLT-F channel addresses most PLT-I interferences by using a fluorescence marker that specifically labels platelets, eliminating interference even in the presence of fragmented red blood cells. Additionally, this channel offers advanced clinical parameters, IPF% and IPF#.
  • The Body Fluid (BF)* application offers a simple, fast and standardised body fluid measurement at any time without requiring sample pretreatment or additional reagents.
