Research Instruments Calibration
Our reagent portfolio offers flexibility of vial sizes and provides superb on-board stability across our Hemostasis analyzers.
In 2010, Sysmex Corporation aquired HYPHEN BioMed enabling us to provide a comprehensive line of reagents to complement our existing Siemens hemostasis reagents portfolio. HYPHEN BioMed is a scientific company with experience in the field of thrombosis, hemostasis and auto-immunity, producing a full line of diagnostic and research reagents, distributed worldwide.
Research Instruments Calibration
A broad range of calibration beads, either in a concentrate or in a ready-to-use format, is available to calibrate Sysmex Flow cytometers or any flow cytometers available on the market.
Research Instruments Calibration Products
Concentrated suspension of 0.5µm/ 1.0µm/3.0µm solid latex microspheres that can be excited by a blue light source. A dilution of this suspension serves as a reference standard for laser alignment and focusing of flow cytometers equipped with a 488 nm laser. A diluted suspension of Calibration Beads 0.5µm/ 1.0µm/3.0µm can also be used for quality control with standard settings and the analysis of small particles such as micro-organisms.
Calibration Beads 3.0µm Ready-to-use – Ready-to-use suspension of 3.0 µm solid latex microspheres that can be excited by a blue light source. This suspension serves as a reference standard for laser alignment and focusing of flow cytometers equipped with 488 nm and 405 nm lasers. The Calibration Beads 3.0 µm suspension is also recommended for quality control with standard settings.
Concentrated suspension of 2.5 µm polystyrene microspheres, in aqueous solution, that can be excited by a UV light source. A dilution of this suspension serves as a reference standard for laser alignment and focusing as well as for daily QC of flow cytometers equipped with a UV excitation source.
Concentrated suspension of particles of the same size (3.0-3.4 µm) and eight different fluorescence intensities, all excited by a blue light source, in aqueous solution. A dilution of this suspension serves to check sensitivity and resolution of a flow cytometer as well as linearity of the photomultiplier tubes in different channels. A dilution of the Rainbow Calibration Particles suspension can also be used for daily quality control with standard settings.
Red Fluorescent Particle Concentrate – A concentrated aqueous suspension of 6 μm polystyrene particles that can be excited by a red laser (and incidentally with a blue laser with emission over 600 nm). A dilution of this concentrate is suitable for a) the alignment of and b) monitoring the performance of flow cytometers equipped with a 635 to 640 nm laser. A dilution of Red Fluorescent Particles Concentrate can also be used for daily quality control with standard settings.
APCS beads 3.0 – 3.4 µm Concentrate – Concentrated suspension of 3.0 – 3.4 µm polystyrene microspheres, in aqueous solution, that can be excited by a red light source. A dilution of this suspension serves as a reference standard for laser alignment and focusing of flow cytometers equipped with a 635-640 nm laser. A dilution of APC Beads 3.0 – 3.4 µm Concentrate can also be used for daily quality control with standard settings.
